We truly cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Joey A! From our very first conversation, we knew we had made the right choice. Joey is incredibly passionate about what he does,...
and his attention to detail, creativity, and genuine love for music shine through in every aspect of his work. We had complete trust in his artistic talent and vision from the very beginning, and he exceeded every expectation we had!
Throughout the entire planning process, Joey was so personable, kind, organized, and easy to work with. Every meeting felt effortless, and he really took the time to understand us, our personalities, and the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. His ability to take our music preferences and turn them into an unforgettable experience was something truly special.
On our wedding day, Joey absolutely delivered! His setup was incredible, his transitions and mixing were seamless, and the energy he brought to the dance floor was unmatched. He has such a talent for reading a crowd, knowing exactly what to play, and keeping the excitement going all night long. He perfectly balanced our personal music style with the energy of our guests, creating an atmosphere that felt uniquely ours. The way he mixed songs together was so fun and unexpected, and it made the entire night that much more memorable!
Something else we absolutely loved was the teamwork between Joey and his wife. They make such an amazing pair, and you can tell how much pride they both take in what they do. They even captured videos throughout our wedding day, giving us additional memories and moments to look back on that we are so grateful for.
What stood out to us most was that we never once had to worry about the entertainment. We trusted Joey completely, and having that peace of mind on such an important day meant everything. He was professional and precise while still being incredibly fun, approachable, and genuinely invested in making our wedding unforgettable.
Joey, thank you for bringing so much energy, personality, and heart to our wedding day. You didn't just play music; you created an experience that we and our guests will remember for years to come. If we could do it all over again, we would choose you without hesitation! We cannot recommend DJ Joey A and his wife enough. They are truly an incredible team!
I truly can’t run out of positive things to say about DJ Joey A. From our very first Zoom call, I knew he was our DJ. He was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish.

he night before our wedding, my husband suffered a traumatic brain injury. Our entire morning and wedding day were chaotic, stressful, and completely different from what we had imagined. Somehow, my husband was able to check himself out of the hospital just in time for our wedding.
When we first arrived at our venue, DJ Joey A immediately greeted us with so much compassion and support. He was more than just our DJ that day — he was a friend and a support system when we really needed one. He helped turn what had started as an incredibly stressful day into one of the most incredible and fun nights of our lives.
Every single one of our guests keeps talking about how it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended. We’ve had so many people tell us it was the longest they’ve ever seen a dance floor stay packed. That is all thanks to an incredible DJ.
His transitions were FLAWLESS. He truly knows how to read a crowd, and he listened to exactly what we were looking for and executed it perfectly. He kept the energy going all night and somehow managed to make the entire dance floor feel like one big party.
We are already trying to find any reason to hire him again — and we absolutely will. If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, professional, genuinely cares about his couples, and knows how to throw an unforgettable party, DJ Joey A is your guy. We could not recommend him enough!
More than a DJ -- a New Friend to Make your Wedding Day Magical
DJ Joey, hands down, was one of the most important people in making sure my wedding reception went well without a h...
itch.
Planning a wedding is stressful. You typically only go through it once, so you are navigating new waters for the first time and just figuring out things as you go. When I met with Joey on Zoom, he was extremely professional, personable, and already had an agenda for things to talk about. I thought we were just going to talk about him DJing music, but then he brought up extremely important questions about how the flow of the reception was going to go, how people were going to be announced from the wedding party, what vibe I wanted at what times etc... Even getting into the minute details of the importance on how to pronounce a name and what the correct title of that person was etc. He took the time to understand my wedding party and family dynamics, along with the vision I had for how I wanted the reception to be like. At the end of our conversation, I realized there were many small details that I had not considered before that were essential for my wedding to be successful without last minute panic moments. DAY SAVER. Let me tell ya! My wedding was beyond "over-the-top" and I am so so so SO grateful to have had Joey as our DJ and MC for the night. He has a very family-oriented vibe to him and a wizard level of skill with truly feeling out the mood of the room and DJ'ing accordingly to it. He is a wonderful person, as well. I highly recommend Joey as a DJ. You will be in great hands. His prices are extremely fair. Thank you Joey for all of your help! We appreciate you so much!
I cannot say enough positive things about DJ Joey. He played such a huge part in making our wedding day smooth, personalized, and FUN. From the first meeting, Joey was easy and fun...
to work with. We were able to provide him a playlist so he could understand our music taste, and let him run with setting the vibe for the day. I later discovered he was even secretly meeting with my dad to surprise us with a personalized father of the bride speech we will never forget!! Joey and his wife really went above and beyond, and we are so so thankful. You will not regret booking with Joey!!
DJ Joey was recommended to us by a friend and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the start, Joey was incredibly organized, responsive, and easy to work with. He went abo...
ve and beyond by even editing a song for our first dance, which meant so much to us. Throughout the reception, Joey was full of energy and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. Our reception was completely stress free and so much fun, all thanks to Joey. The dance floor was packed all night with a perfect mix of songs that kept guests of all ages dancing. We received countless compliments about how fun our reception was. We cannot recommend DJ Joey enough!
DJ Joey is amazing! He was an absolute pleasure to work with for our daughter's wedding. His experience is evident throughout the process. He is able to offer advice when needed...
, he is prompt with his communication, he is professional and keeps the dance floor rocking. He provided the music for both the outdoor ceremony and then throughout the entire reception. No breaks, so the party never stopped. You can't go wrong with Dj Joey!
DJ Joey is top notch! He is kind, professional, and pays extremely close attention to detail. I had a brunch reception, and we partied and danced more than some of the more traditi...
onal weddings I have been to that take place in the evening. DJ Joey got to know my spouse and I and personalized our event to us. He came up with great ideas, such as having a reverse anniversary dance to keep people on the dance floor. DJ Joey gave us several shout outs, kept the chain of events on schedule, made sure the mic volume was great during the speeches, and kept the music at an appropriate volume for every stage of the event. There was great energy on our dance floor from start to finish. If you want a great DJ who will go above and beyond to make your event unforgettable, I only recommend DJ Joey! If I ever have another event that requires a DJ, I will hire him again in a heartbeat. Thank you, DJ Joey, for making our wedding the best day of our lives!

wesome to work with, specifically in helping us put together an outline of the steps from the ceremony to the end of the reception. For the music of the reception he was very on point with making sure the playlist included what the bride & groom wanted as well as throwing in some remixes to keep the party moving. Many of the venue staff pointed out during the reception how he was notably the best DJ they have seen as far as song selection/mixes/ and keeping the wedding guests going with a good time. My husband & I are definitely fully satisfied with the services he provided & passing along his info to friends & family in the future that are in need of a DJ.

g the entire planning process completely stress-free. His experience truly shone through—it was clear he knew exactly how to handle every detail and keep the night flowing perfectly.
DJ Joey A pours his heart into what he does, and without a doubt, was born to do this! I dreamed of a packed dance floor all night long, and he absolutely delivered. He read the crowd perfectly and played the best mix of songs to keep the energy high from start to finish.
So many of our guests reached out to tell us how much fun they had, and we have DJ Joey A to thank for that. You truly made our night unforgettable!
If you’re looking for a DJ, don’t even hesitate—book DJ Joey A immediately. You won’t regret it!
DJ Joey is absolutely incredible. We knew he would help make our day the best and he truly lived up to that! We’ve followed Joey to many weddings and had no doubt he would do ours ...
when it was our turn! Thanks for being the best Joey!
Joey was an absolutely amazing DJ! He rocked the night away for us and our guests. Joey knew how to work the room and get the crowd pumped up and on the dance floor. He was a true ...
professional from the moment we booked him for our wedding until the end of our wedding night two years later. We did a split of Albanian music and American music to incorporate my family's heritage and Joey made the music transitions between the two so smooth. He was a pleasure to work with and create a vision with. My husband Liam and I would highly highly recommend Joey for your wedding, or honestly any other event you might have. Our wedding was a night we will never forget! Thank you Joey and Tanya :)
DJ Joey A was by far my favorite vendor to work with leading up to the wedding day. From start to finish, I was blown away. After out initial video call, I was EXCITED to be workin...
g with him. I'm so happy that he was available on our date. He helped me with reception timeline, kept me on track with timing, came to the venue for a walkthrough and talked me through what he thought would work best for the set up, and made me feel even more confident that everything would work out as planned. DJ Joey is so kind, professional, creative, and knows how to read a room. I even had an idea for a remix of a song I asked if he could create for our grand entrance and he did it FLAWLESSLY. Working with him was SO MUCH FUN and I feel like he really understood the vibes we were going for. He was the absolute BEST vendor/DJ to work with. He even has a free online radio station (Sonik Armada!!!) that I listened to during the weeks leading up to the wedding and it made me increasingly excited every day because his music taste is impeccable and right up our alley. He transformed our space with his uplighting and truly helped make it a night to remember. His wife even brought a drone to capture the property and he shared that with us. We didn't book a videographer, so DJ Joey & Tanya's attention to detail is so appreciated and you can really tell they love what they do. They know how to get a party started and keep it going. If you are even considering booking DJ Joey A - look no further - HE IS WORTH IT!!!

ach part of the night. He was so attentive to our preferences and seamlessly incorporated our favorite songs while keeping the energy high throughout the evening. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and so many of our guests complimented the incredible vibe (3 years later and still receiving compliments). DJ Joey A was professional, easy to work with, and truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!
Joey recently was the DJ for my wedding. He did a fantastic job all around. From pre-planning, communication, details, execution and more. He preformed for our ceremony & cocktail ...
hour as well as the wedding reception. He was great from start to finish and didn't miss a moment. I would highly recommend DJ Joey. He is such a solid person and also did great as the MC for the night. Book Him!
DJ Joey was an amazing DJ and MC. He was very personable and was always in communication which made the whole process run smoothly (even my wedding coordinator complimented on how ...
awesome he was to work with). I even made last minute changes and he was able to accommodate seamlessly. Besides our song list, he was also able to curate songs based on the vibe of our guests that were on the dance floor and I definitely recommend adding his uplights! He was a natural MC throughout the evening and during our wedding shoe game where he was able to entertain the crowd with laughter as he added his own commentary to the questions.
To top it all off, I actually first witnessed his talent at someone else's wedding and thought he was so awesome that I recommended him to others and they all loved him! Years go by and as I was planning for my own wedding, I of course contacted him with no hesitation and of course he delivered! If that doesn't show you experienced skill and consistency then I don't know what will. Highly, highly recommend!

d a half before the wedding to make sure that we could get him. He helped us plan out the evening by asking questions that we hadn't even thought of. He put everything together in a flowchart and gave it to us for approval. Everything was timed perfectly. Him and his wife Tonya made us a little bonus video of the wedding & reception and last I looked it had almost 4k views. You're in very good hands with DJ Joey A at your biggest day!! P.S. He traveled around 4hrs to be there, thanks Joey!!
My husband knows him.
He was very professional and did a great job keeping the energy high!

want super fun mixes, light effects and a packed dance floor DJ Joey is your guy! Our dance floor was moving and grooving all night and so many people stayed to the end of reception because they wanted to dance! Best DJ I have seen at a wedding hands down, all of our guest kept telling us the DJ was AMAZING !
I hoped that Joey A would be able to DJ my wedding even before I was engaged. When that day eventually came and the planning began, I explained to my fiancé that asking Joey to DJ...
our wedding was non-negotiable. You will quickly recognize Joey’s expertise and professionalism immediately in the first conversation. He walks you through the entire event from pre-ceremony music all the way to the last song of the night. Not only does he ask you what songs you like, but also songs you do not like. I feel he went especially above and beyond when he let me select a different song when announcing each of the (7) couples in our wedding party. That made an ordinary part of a wedding extra special. Planning a wedding is hard. Joey put me at ease, and I knew that the music and entertainment was a part of the wedding I did not have to stress and worry over. He said, “Christa, I got you!!” And he did! Joey A has this incredibly unique talent to read the crowd and mix songs that keep the dance floor packed. Not only did he play all the songs that he had us select prior, but he also threw in other favorites that I never even thought of. We had guests out on the dance floor the entire night that I never expected to leave the table. We received compliments all night long, and for weeks after, about how much fun our wedding was. I contribute a huge part of that to Joey. I am deeply honored that he (and Tanya) were an intricate part of one of the most important days in my life. THANK YOU, Joey, for making my wedding day better than I ever imagined!

ly SEAMLESS. It has been almost 2 weeks since our wedding and people are STILL complimenting on how amazing our DJ was.
My husband and I are sooooo grateful for Joey for making our wedding the most memorable and the most fun wedding our guests have been to. You will be in great hands with DJ JoeyA for any event.
From the first phone call, we knew we had found the DJ for our wedding. DJ Joey didn’t give us a long list of reasons why he was the best in the business; he simply asked questions...
to understand our needs. He was organized and timely and ever so professional, pleasant and accommodating of all our requests. And his follow-through was exceptional.
On the day of our wedding, he was on time, courteous, jovial and kept everyone on point. DJ Joey was very inclusive of all our guests; playing something for everyone and he kept our guests on the dance floor all night!! Somehow, he captured our playlist, songs he chose, requests from our teenage daughter and her friends and the music was popping. There was never a time that the dance floor was empty.
The reviews are in and our guests are super complimentary of DJ Joey. They found him to be jovial and courteous and an overall awesome DJ. We had an out of state guest call to ask if he would travel. Another said she went to an event and found herself wishing DJ Joey was there.
If you are looking for DJ services, put DJ Joey of Sonik Armada on your must call list!! He will keep your wedding or event popping and your guests will thank you!!

really keeps the party going all night long. We have received so many compliments on how the ceremony flowed so well and how he kept the crowd going all night long. The day after our wedding he posted one of the cutest video snippets of our reception and we couldn’t be more grateful. Not only is he a great DJ but him and his wife are so caring and thoughtful. They noticed I was getting dizzy from nerves and not eating a lot before the ceremony so they offered their own lunch to me. Without them I don’t think I would have made it down. If you want the best wedding possible BOOK JOEY A! We can’t wait to see him at friends weddings in the future.

DJ Joey A was in every respect amazing, fantastic, an absolute delight, and if he wasn’t our DJ, he would’ve definitely been our guest! We loved having him at our wedding so much! ...
He added a great deal of sentiment and care with every little touch. He was on top of everything, he virtually came up with our wedding schedule, guided us through the process, explained the necessities and the gave us all our options. Our wedding was a culturally split wedding, middle eastern/American ——and he integrated and executed it all soo perfectly. He had everyone in a great mood and most importantly dancing the night away. His attention to detail was absolutely phenomenal, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ.

lism stood out, and he consistently stayed in touch as the big day approached. What truly set him apart was his attentive nature – he truly listened. He took our preferences to heart and curated a tailored experience that resonated perfectly with all our guests.
Beyond his exceptional DJ skills, Joey A possesses an uncanny ability to gauge the atmosphere and effortlessly sustain the energetic vibe throughout the night. Our celebration was filled with guests coming up to me to express how DJ Joey A was absolutely owning the event. If you're seeking a stress-free celebration and have one less thing to worry about on your big day, entrust your special day to DJ Joey A and his team – an experience that undoubtedly lives up to its promise.

I think everyone stayed till the very end because his music kept so many dancing till the very end. I have been to two other weddings he has been the DJ for and the same is true for the other weddings.
DJ Joey is great! We loved the music he had put together for our wedding- our guests really had a good time!

! Once we finally got engaged, I immediately messaged him and checked on his fall availability for the following year so that we could pick a weekend that worked with his schedule too! I’ve referred him to so many of my friends and clients and love when I get to go to a wedding knowing he’s going to be there because you know the dance floor will be packed and the wedding will be so much fun!!!

s super communicative, quick response turnaround time, flexible, and all around just a nice guy to work with. You can tell he really cares about what he does. My ceremony was set up to be outdoors, and then we got hit with a complete random summer storm just during our ceremony timeframe. Joey was on it, he found me right away and asked me what I wanted to do. I said lets move it indoors, so he moved all of the equipment indoors quickly and our ceremony went off without a hitch still. Because of the rain, it delayed our ceremony start time by about 20-30minutes which in turn pushed everything back by 30 minutes. I wanted to stay on the original schedule timeline if possible, and honestly, thanks to Joey, it happened. My venue was amazing but the coordinator's assistant was kinda MIA, so I really was leaning on Joey to keep the party moving...which he did! I told him I just wanted to party and he made sure we partied! I have friends and family members still to this day telling me how fun our wedding was and it was their favorite wedding of the year. Not tooting my horn at all, because it was all Joey!! Also, I didn't hire a wedding coordinator. So I really relied on the venue's day of coordinator and my DJ. SO - if you could pick only one vendor and one vendor only - pick DJ Joey!!! You could get married in the middle of nowhere and he would make your day the most amazing day ever. Thank you Joey for everything! You are the best!!!!
We were so lucky to work with DJ Joey! He came highly recommended from one of my coworkers, and did not disappoint. He really made sure to understand our preferences and timeline, ...
and I was very comfortable telling him to play what he thought would get everyone dancing! My husband's family are not big dancers, but he had everyone up all night long. When we arrived at the reception venue for a sneak peak on our way over to cocktail hour, Joey was helping our florist light candles! Totally unnecessary, but it just shows that he is willing to go above and beyond to make your night perfect.

hat we were looking for and we felt very confident going in to our wedding. The day of the wedding he was on time, professional, and was SO fun! When I say our dance floor was never empty- it was never empty! People missed out on our photo booth, dessert, and late night snack because they were too busy dancing the night away! Lol! We could not be happier with our decision to book Joey!
We heard from multiple friends, family, and our photographer/videographer team that he is one of the best DJs they have seen at a wedding!
Thank you, Joey!!

I first saw DJ Joey A in 2002, I was 14 years old, at my cousins wedding, I loved music and even at 14 was dancing out on the dance floor! When I turned 21 and started hanging out ...
at bars and clubs I realized DJ Joey A was the same DJ from my cousins wedding!! Every time the dance floor was ALWAYS packed and his mixes were AMAZING! I knew as soon as I got engaged we needed DJ Joey A at our wedding. Through the whole 2020 pandemic, my venues and timelines changed more times than I can count. He responded to every email and text and assured we were going to have a great time no matter what. He asked for a list of songs we wanted to play and gave great recommendations. 5 days before our scheduled wedding date, because of state orders, our venue had to shut down AGAIN. We planned a backyard wedding in 2 days and he was there, and so accommodating!! During dinner, the song choices were our exact vibe. My husband turned to me and said, “I know you said he was good, I didn’t know he was this good, I can’t wait to see what he plays later.” Being a smaller Filipino wedding outside, in my backyard in November, he knew what to play to get the crowd going. We had family from the Bay Area and gave them a shoutout, they went hyphy! Even though plans changed and it wasn’t what I originally wanted, we threw an amazing party, we all had an amazing time and DJ Joey sure helped that happen.
Thank you Joey for everything.
If you need a wedding DJ, you will never be disappointed, it will be a decision you’ll never regret.

You can really tell he cares for his customers and giving them the BEST wedding experience! Thank you so much Joey! Josh & I will remember how amazing our night was forever!!

went above and beyond by providing some additional video footage from our wedding as well. Joey and I go back to when he use to dj at a local bar I use to attend. The moment I heard him dj I knew he was going to be the dj for my wedding. I got non stop compliments throughout the night how great he was. He made everything so simple for my husband and I. Very professional and attentive to his clients needs and wants. I would book Joey for any of my events. You will not be disappointed if you book DJ Joey A. Thanks for an amazing night Joey. If we could do it again, we would. Much love.

When we sat down and chose our top 3 must have, a great DJ made that list and DJ Joey was amazing! From the moment we met him, we knew our search was over. He was very professional...
and made us feel very comfortable. He was able to accommodate all of our needs with traditional music from both sides of the family. He kept the whole evening on track and made sure we got everything we wanted. Our family and friends raved about how fun the wedding was because most of them never left the dance floor. Bonus- we got a wedding sneak peek video from him the very next day on social media so we could both relive the night and see how much fun everyone had! We highly recommend DJ Joey for all your deejaying needs! Make sure you bring your dancing shoes because you’ll be dancing the night away!
